Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Delek released Sera Jey English Translation Department’s second publication titled "Jig-ten-mig”, a collection of articles in Tibetan language, during the 84th Birthday ceremony of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama on 6 July 2019 at Sera Jey Monastery.

His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama's 84th Birthday was celebrated at Sera Jey Monastery on 6th July 2019 morning, attended by Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Delek, Disciplinarian, Chant Master and Heads of respective Departments & Khangtsens.

Sera Jey Monastery's abbot - Khen Rinpoche Tenzin Jampa Choesang, and Chief Administrator - Geshe Nawang Zangpo, embarked on their first visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Ganden Yiga Choezin Monastery in Ulaanbaatar. Khen Rinpoche granted Hayagriva Initiation at Ganden Yiga Choezin Monastery on 29th of June 2019.

Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot H.E. Tenzin Jampa Choesang Rinpoche granted Lamrim Chenmo, the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment by Je-Tsong Khapa to pupil monks during the morning debate session on the 22nd day of holy Saka Dawa month (24th June 2019).

Pupil monks of Sera Jey Monastery performed a complete reading of the 108 volumes of Ka-gyur-Buddhist Canon, the “Translated Words” of Buddha Shakyamuni on 22nd June 2019. The reading of the sacred texts is dedicated for removal of negative obstacles and successful completion of their monastic education..
