MoU on Riglam course 16Feb2025A Memorandum of Understanding was signed and exchanged between Sera Jey Monastic Institute and Unione Buddhists Italiana, Italy, on collaboration in Tibetan Buddhist Dialectical Curriculum at Gyudmed Monastic School, on February 16, 2025. Representatives from the two organisations, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, the Abbot of Sera Jey Monastic Institute, and Mr. Filippo Scianna, President of Unione Buddhists Italiana were the signatories of the MoU.

IGNOU Convocation 5Mar2025In the Thirty Eight Convocation of IGNOU (Indra Gandhi National Open University) held at IGNOU Regional Centre Bangalore on 5th March 2025, two pupil monks from Sera Jey Monastic Institute received their Bachelor’s Certificate & one received the Master’s Certificate.
Ven. Ngawang Phuntsok, staff of IGNOU Special Study Centre at Sera Jey Monastic Institute, has participated as one of invited guest in this convocation ceremony.

Dialogue on One Human Family 7Mar2025 Ven. Lobsang Dorjee Paljor, Senior Translator at Sera Jey Translation Department, Sera Jey Monastic Institute, has participated in the "One Human Family: Dialogue on Inclusion, Development and Peace”, organized by Mumbai University on March 7, 2025. He gave his presentation on the theme from the Buddhist Perspective.

01The practical examination of the NIOS Secondary Level for April 2025, scheduled from 17th - 29th March 2025, is conducted at Sera Je Secondary School in Sera Jey Monastic Institute, Bylakuppe, under the NIOS Study Centre - AI M08059.

The practical examinations are conducted for the following six subjects are, Science & Technology (212), Home Science (216), Mathematics (211), Painting (225), Data Entry Operation (229), Basic Computing (608).

Students from Sera Jey, Sera Mey, Tashi Lhunpo & Namdroling monastery & nunnery, besides local Indians enrolled under this study centre are participating in the ongoing practical examinations.
