Sera Jey Science Centre conducted the 4th Dialogue on The Relevance of Ancient Knowledge and Modern Science on 6 October 2025, coinciding with the “Year of Compassion” 90th Birth Anniversary of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar was the Chief Guest, besides other guests as, Disciplinarian and Chant Master. The Panels include Geshe Dorjee Nyima, Geshe Sangey Gyatso & Geshe Thabkhe on one side, and Dr Marieke, Dr Chiara Mascarello & Dr Francesco Tormen on the other side. Participants include student monks from Sera Jey Science Centre and the mainstream Geshe curriculum.

On 5th of October 2025, Sera Jey Monastery conducted the Panel Discussion on Prajnaparamitta in the morning session, and on Madhyamika in the afternoon session. The event was attended by the monastery’s Abbot, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, former Abbot, Khensur Jampa Choesang Rinpoche, Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Members of Board of Examination & Philosophical Studies, Tulkus, senior scholars and pupil monks from Karam, Uma and Pharchin.

On 3rd October 2025, an educational tour visit from Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education’s 2nd year BA & MA specialized program students and faculty, numbering 22, was hosted by the monastery’s Modern Education Department Head, Geshe Jampa Choewang and Translation Department. They were given an audience with the monastery’s abbot, and were introduced about the monastery’s curriculum, including observing the Debate sessions, tour visit to the Science Centre and meditation research lab, library and Sera Je Secondary School.
