Centre for the Study of World Religions, CSWR, of Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Bangalore, organized the event, Celebrating The Legacy of His Holiness The Dalai: 90 Years of Compassion, to commemorate His Holiness 90th Birth Anniversary. The Chief Representative of South Zone Tibetan Settlement in India was the Chief Guest, Sera Jey Monastery’s Director of Modern Education Department represented the monastery along with the group of monks.

The fourth Sera Jey International Summer School 2025 was concluded on 31 July 2025. A warm closing ceremony was held at the venue’s auditorium, graced by the monastery’s Abbot, with the Representative of Lugsam Tibetan Settlement, Bylakuppe, as the Guest hof Honor. The participant children presented their newly learned Tibetan opera dance, folk dance, songs and Tibetan flute music before the gathering. Certificate of Participation was presented to the children and to the teachers & staffs.

The participant children of the 4th Sera Jey International Summer Camp 2025 along with the visiting group of students from IDEA, Institute of Design Education and Architectural Studies, Nagpur, who are on a study tour, made a tour visit at the monastery’s morning debate session, the main prayer hall and audience with the Abbot, on 20th July 2025. The Abbot addressed the group with a brief words of wisdom and advice.

Fourteen students & one faculty from IDEA, Institute of Design Education and Architectural Studies, Nagpur, made an educational tour visit to Sera Jey Monastic Institute for three days from 19 - 22 July 2025. The Modern Education Department of our monastic institute organized programs as, Meditation, Introduction to Buddhism, monastic study curriculum, methods of learning and Tibetan Buddhist culture & art.
