On 6th April 2026, during the evening debate session, Sera Jey Monastery conducted its annual award ceremony for the academic year 2025, for Bachelor equivalent course graduates of monastery’s main curriculum, Science Course and Geluk Examination. The monastery’s Abbot presented the award to the recipients in the presence of The Chief Disciplinarian, the Chant Master, Administrator, Textual Teachers, Khangtsen and Department Heads. The monastery’s Board of Examination & Philosophical Studies organized the ceremony.

Sera Jey Monastery’ Academic Council convened for a meeting on 5th April 2026, under the chairmanship of the monastery’s Abbot, and attended by the Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Administrator, Representative of Sera Lachi, Members of Board of Examination, Textual Teachers, former Disciplinarians, Council Committee and Members and Department heads. The meeting was specifically held to review the monastery’s main Geshe curriculum and deliberations for changes towards the curriculum’s overall development.

The annual Tsogram Geshe Graduation Ceremony was conducted on 17th & 18th March 2026. Nine pupil monks received their Tsogram Geshe during this graduation.
