In accordance with the guidelines of Geluk International Foundation, Sera Jey Monastery observed three days of sermon on 28th, 29th & 30th August 2025. The Board of Examination & Philosophical Studies organized separate sermon programs, for Dulwa to Karam stage, Gelong & Getsul; and separately for Sera Jey Secondary School pupil monks.

The annual Rigchen Debate Ceremony was held on 15th & 16th August 2025 at the monastery’s prayer hall. It is known as the Major of the two Debate ceremonies, held amongst the Karam Stage, on completion of the curriculum in the Five Major Treatises.

The Sera Jey Board of Examination of Buddhist Philosophical Studies on 30 July 2025, conducted the Completion Certificate for Series 1 & 2 of Pramanavarttika Course. The monastery’s Abbot presented the completion certificate.
