On 31st December 2025, a new Lama Tsong Khapa (Je Rinpoche) Statue was installed and consecrated at Sera Jey Bangalore Buddhist Society, as part of the Ghoton, 90th Birth Anniversary of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. The consecration ceremony was led by Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, with the participation of the Chant Master, Administrators, senior Geshe monks and staffs, including devotees.
A Guru Puja Tsok Offering was followed after the consecration ceremony.

Sera Jey Bangalore Buddhist Society organized Choekhor Duechen, Shakyamuni Buddha's First Turning of Dharma Wheel, ceremony on 28 July 2025. Monks from Sera Jey Monastery and devotees recited the Dharma Chakra Sutra. The recitation was also done in Pali. Guru Puja Offering for the Long Life of His Holiness The Dalai Lama was also conducted. Tea & Lunch was served to all the attendees.

Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot with chief Administrator made a tour visit to the three Sera Jey branch centers in US from 4th June 2025. During which, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, presided Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center, New York, annual Maha-Gurubhumtsok Ceremony and granted Namgyalma Initiation on 8th June 2025. A day earlier, on 7 June 2025, the Abbot attended the pre-celebration of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday ceremony, and also granted teachings on the Eight Verses of Mind Training during then.
During the visit to Sera Jey Foundation at California from 12 - 16 June 2025, the Abbot granted Green Tara Initiation and talk to the public.
During the visit to Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center, Minnesota, from 17 - 20 June 2025, the Abbot attended the Buddhist conference held amongst the Tibetan community of Minnesota.
Following the Abbot’s return to India from the US tour in the last week of June 2025, attended the 15th Tibetan Religious Conference at Dharamsala from 2 - 4 July 2025. And on 6th July 2025, attended the official celebration ceremony of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday at Dharamsala. On 13th July 2025 attended the 90th Birthday Celebration of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama organized by International Buddhist Confederation at New Delhi.

Tibetan communities of Bangalore, including The Chief Representative, Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, of South Zone Tibetan Settlements, attend the Saka Dawa prayer ceremony at Sera Jey Bangalore Buddhist Society, Cox Town Bangalore, today on 11 June 2025. The society has organized the Saka Dawa prayer ceremony, with monks from Sera Jey Monastery.
