Sera Jey Monastery and its entire sangha community commemorated the Churgu Choepa ceremony on 7 January 2026, in veneration of Jetsun Choekyi Gyaltsen's (Text Composer of Sera Jey Monastery) parinirvana, which falls on the 19th day of the 11th month of Tibetan lunar calendar. The ceremony was presided by the monastery’s Abbot in the presence the Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Tulkus, Geshes and member monks.

Sera Jey Monastery organized a special White Tara Puja and Long Life Ceremony”, “Long Life Prayers for His Holiness The Dalai Lama”, and a grand “Trinchol Ceremony” (Invocation Ceremony) at the Main Prayer Hall on 5th November 2025 (Wednesday), at 9.00 am, in dedication to the successful flourishing of monastery’s programs and activities, including our affiliate monasteries / centres and devoted sponsors.
The auspicious ceremony was presided by the monastery’s Abbot and two former Abbots, and with the participation of Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Tulkus, Philosophical Text Teachers, senior Geshes and monks.

The annual three-day long Yangdrub Ritual Ceremony has commenced from 23 October 2025. The White Zambala is the medium of this Yangdrub Ceremony to invoke prosperity, peace, harmony and wellbeing of all sentient beings, and flourishing of the monastery’s missions, The Ceremony is presided by the monastery’s Abbot in the presence of Chant Master, senior Geshes and monks.
