The Sangchos Monlam Chenmo (Samantabhadra-carya-pranidhana) prayer ceremony referred as King of Prayers, is one of Sera Jey Monastery’s major annual prayer ceremonies. It is normally held a week after the ‘Churgu-choepa Ceremony’ (Nineteenth Offering) in veneration of Jetsun Choekyi Gyaltsen’.
This Sangchos Monlam Chenmo prayer ceremony is scheduled from 25th – 31st January 2026.

Churgu Choepa བཅུ་དགུ་མཆོད་པ། Parinirvan of Jetsun Choekyi Gyaltsen, is observed on the 19th day of 11th Tibetan calendar month. He is one of the most learned and author of several great philosophical texts, which are part of Sera Jey Monastery’s study curriculum.
