The 5th Summer School for children of Tibetan diaspora organized at Sera Jey Tashi Choeling Centre from 26th June 2026, concluded with the closing ceremony on 16th July 2026. This year’s summer school has the participation of 40 Tibetan children from 11 different countries.Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, was the Chief Guest, and Guest of Honour – Mr. Gelek Jugney, Representative of Lugsam Tibetan Settlement of Bylakuppe, and Mr. J.P. Hayagriva Initiation & Long Life Empowerment Ceremony
On 28th June 2026, H.E. Venerable Jhado Rinpoche granted the Unique Hyagriva Initiation Ceremony and the Zong-chung Long Life Empowerment Ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Abbot of Sera Jey Monastery and other monasteries, Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Tulkus, Geshes and monks, including several hundreds of lay devotees.
