A grand Hayagriva Fire Puja Ceremony, Jinsek, was conducted on the final day of the annual Hayagriva Retreat Ceremony, on 16th March 2026. The ceremony was presided by the monastery’s Abbot and head monk of Sera Jey Hayagriva Ritual Shrine, assisted by members of Hayagriva Ritual Shrine members and participated by the entire sangha community of Sera Jey. In the afternoon, a grand Hayagriva Tsok Offering Ceremony was conducted, led by the monastery’s Abbot. Many lay devotees attended the two ceremonies on the concluding day of the Hayagriva Retreat.

Sera Jey Monastery's annual Hayagriva Retreat ceremony for the year 2026 has commenced from 6th March 2026, and will run up to 16th March 2026. On the final day of 16th March 2026, the ceremony will conclude with a grand Hayagriva Fire Puja and Tsok Offering. The monastery has arranged special areas for lay devotees to observe and participate in the retreat.

In the early morning of 18 February 2026, Sera Jey Monastery's Abbot, Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Tulkus, Geshes and member monks assembled to celebrate the traditional monastic Tibetan New Year Ceremony, 2153 the year of Fire - Horse. Sweet Rice and Tea were served to the assembly, and Tibetan cookies were offered.
