Sera Jey Monastery’s administration made another round of Dry Food Ration Distribution on 20 September 2021 to its member monks in view of the temporary suspension of the main kitchen service due to the prevailing COVID pandemic situation. Rice, Wheat Flour, Dal (Lentil) and Cooking Oil were the ingredients included in the food ration.

On 5 September 2021 Sera Jey Monastery today organized a thanks giving ceremony to monastery's COVID frontline warriors, particularly the medical staffs of Sera Jey Health Care Committee, designated staffs from other departments, Emergency COVID Rapid Action Committee and volunteers, for their tireless and enduring service during the most challenging and difficult time of Covid-19 pandemic.
The monastery's abbot presided the ceremony with scarf offerings, joined by the Disciplinarian and Chief Administrator.
A small dinner feast was followed along.
