Haya griva Retreat ( Tamdin Leerung)

The annual Haya griva Retreat (Tamdin Lerung) commenced from 1st August.   The retreat is observed by entire sanga assembly in full strength at the main Assembly Prayer Hall from 5.00 am in the morning to 9.00 pm in the evening in Four Sessions - The retreat concluded with Haya Griva Fire Puja ceremony on 8th & Haya Griva Puja (Tsog) on 9th of August 2008.

The retreat is observed in dedication for the Long Life & successful accomplishment of His Dharma mission; for peace, harmony & prosperity in the human civilization and for the welbeing of all sentient beings.

The Lharam Geshe (the highest monastic academic degree equivalent to PhD) Damcha / Disputation for the year 2007 has conluded  (13 - 14 December 2007) (Tibetan Calendar 5 of 11 th month 2134)

Winter Debate (Jamyang Goonchoe)

The annual Winter inter-monastic debate meet for the year 2007 has commenced - 2 to 31 December 2007 (Tibetan Calendar- 23 of 10 th month 23 of 11 th month 2134) at Drepung Monastery - Doeguling Tibetan Settlement (Mundgod) South India

Sangchoe Monlam chenmo

The annual one week veneration ceremony after the 1st week of Jetsun Choege Gyaltsen's mortal departure is held on (5 - 11 December 2007) (Tibetan Calendar- 26 of 10 th month – 2 nd of 11 th month year 2134)

This special ceremony involves marathon prayers by the full assembly in four sessions -

6.00	pm	-	9.00	pm
